SUPER FORMULA SUZUKA, Mugen driver Nojiri made a strong start from third on the grid, swiftly surpassing pole-sitter Sena Sakaguchi and Kakunoshin Ota. He maintained his lead throughout the 31-lap race without facing any serious threats.

Kenta Yamashita and Naoki Yamamoto completed the podium, benefiting from early pitstops to gain positions.

Both front-row starters, Sakaguchi and Ota, lost ground at the start, with Sakaguchi slipping to third and Ota dropping to seventh.

Nojiri extended his lead before making a pitstop on lap 13, rejoining ahead of Yamashita and Yamamoto, who had pitted earlier.

Sato made his stop on lap 15 but was overtaken by Yamashita, Yamamoto, Ota, and Fukuzumi.

Nojiri secured his 12th career victory, with Yamashita finishing second and Yamamoto achieving his best dry race finish since 2020.

Ota recovered to finish fourth, followed by Sato and Fukuzumi.

Sakaguchi made his pitstop on lap 19, slipping to seventh as a result. The points scorers included Nobuharu Matsushita, Ayumu Iwasa, and Tadasuke Makino.

Iwasa, the top rookie, made his stop on lap 26, initially dropping to 10th before overtaking Makino at Spoon corner.

Among the other newcomers, Iori Kimura finished 12th, Juju Noda was 17th, and Theo Pourchaire had a challenging debut, finishing 18th after an incident that required a front wing change during his pitstop.

Yuji Kunimoto and Kazuto Kotaka eliminated in a clash at the Esses on lap 2, prompting the safety car, while Kamui Kobayashi encountered mechanical trouble late in the race.
