Lionel Messi and his team, Inter Miami, will play against their Florida neighbors, Orlando City, in a big soccer match this Saturday. Last Sunday, Messi scored a last-minute goal, making the game against the Los Angeles Galaxy end in a 1-1 tie. This kept Miami unbeaten since they also won their first game against Real Salt Lake 2-0. However, even with these results, Miami’s performance hasn’t been very impressive. Luis Suarez, a player from Uruguay, isn’t in his best shape yet, and Sergio Busquets from Spain is also not playing his best due to an ankle injury.

Busquets mentioned, “We wanted to win on Sunday but ended up tying, which was fair. It wasn’t our best game. Starting the season is always tough. We’re still getting used to things and waiting for injured players to get better. We hope to play well this Saturday at our home game.”

Busquets noted that Suarez, recently arrived from Gremio in Brazil where he netted 17 goals last year, requires more time to adapt to the league. “Everything is new for us. We’re in the process of adapting and have areas to improve,” he stated.

Orlando City is going to be a tough match for Miami. Last season, Orlando finished second in the Eastern Conference and considered one of the favorites for the championship this season. Their coach, Oscar Pareja, has brought in some experienced players, showing he wants to win now.

When Miami and Orlando last met in the Leagues Cup in August, there was a bit of controversy over the referees not giving Messi a second yellow card, which led to some calling the match a “circus.”

Another exciting game to watch will be the Galaxy going up against the San Jose Earthquakes. The Galaxy have added new players like Joseph Paintsil and Gabriel Pec and look stronger than last year.

Lastly, the Columbus Crew, who won the championship last year, will play against Minnesota United, which just got a new coach named Eric Ramsay.
