CHANDLER SMITH WINS, Justin Allgaier, leading the race with a comfortable margin, suffered a setback as a flat left-front tire led his No. 7 Chevrolet to collide with the Turn wall just five laps the end.

This pivotal moment triggered a two-lap overtime, ultimately culminating in Chandler Smith’s unexpected victory as he successfully fended off a rapid-charging Jesse Love by a mere 0.365 seconds.

Chandler Smith secured his second career victory after joining Joe Gibbs Racing, showcasing a rollercoaster performance from dominating to facing challenges. His teammate, Sheldon Creed, finished third, followed by Austin Hill in fourth and Cole Custer in fifth.

The top 10 completed by Shane van Gisbergen, Brandon Jones, Parker Kligerman, Sammy Smith, and Anthony Alfredo. Smith expressed pride in the team’s performance and emphasized the importance of building on this success.

Stage 1,

Chandler Smith led all 45 laps to secure a dominant win over Custer, with Allgaier finishing third, Almirola in fourth, and Herbst in fifth. A collision early in the race involved Clements, Williams, Cram, and Emerling, resulting in Emerling’s exit and Williams falling several laps behind.

Stage 2

Cole Custer secured the win by holding off a late charge from Justin Allgaier, clinching his first stage victory of the 2024 season by 0.457 seconds. Aric Almirola finished third, followed by Chandler Smith in fourth place and Riley Herbst rounding out the top five.

Stage 3

after the lead lap cars pitted with Custer first off pit road, the final stage commenced with Custer leading Allgaier and Herbst with 100 laps remaining. After Hailie Deegan’s car made contact with the wall, NASCAR implemented a caution on lap 138 debris on the track. This led to all cars entering the pit for new tires and fuel in anticipation of the race’s conclusion.
